Manchester United have reportedly been given a boost in their pursuit of Antoine Griezmann following a spat between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
The Madrid giants have lodged an official complaint with FIFA over an alleged illegal approach for the French striker by the Blaugrana.
Speculation regarding Griezmann’s future had been growing in recent days after reports suggested that Barca president Josep Bartomeu met with the player’s family.
According to The Mirror, Atletico are now “ready” to do business with United rather than with the Catalan club over their star asset.
Griezmann was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer but, with Los Colchoneros facing a transfer ban, opted to sign a new deal at the Wanda Metropolitano.
