Man United ‘willing to swap David de Gea for Cristiano Ronaldo’

Manchester United are allegedly willing to allow David de Gea to join Real Madrid in a deal which would see Cristiano Ronaldo move in the opposite direction.

According to Diario Gol, Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho is keen to reunite with his compatriot, who he coached at Real, and is willing to use his goalkeeper as a makeweight in an agreement that will make it possible.

Real have been linked with De Gea on several past occasions, and reports suggest that the Spain international is keen on a move to Madrid.

The report goes on to say that Mourinho is ready to offer up Paul Pogba in part exchange if Los Blancos reject his De Gea offer.

Ronaldo spent six years at Old Trafford before moving to the Bernabeu in 2009 for £80m.
