Man United ‘table £17.4m bid for Porto’s Diogo Dalot’

Manchester United have reportedly lodged a £17.4m bid for Porto defender Diogo Dalot.

The Portugal Under-21 star is preparing to discuss personal terms with the Red Devils, according to The Telegraph.

Dalot is a highly-rated young right-back who broke into the Porto senior side this season and won the league with them.

United boss Jose Mourinho is said to view the defender as a potential understudy to Antonio Valencia.

Juventus, Napoli and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in Dalot but the report suggests that United are in pole position to secure his services.
