Fulham sign Calum Chambers from Arsenal
Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has joined Fulham on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old signed a new contract with the Gunners last month, having made 82 appearances since joining the North Londoners from Southampton in 2014.
Chambers, capped three times for England, was also loaned to Middlesbrough during the 2016-17 campaign, making 24 Premier League appearances.
“Calum is a talented defender who has a bright future,” new Arsenal boss Unai Emery told the official club website.
“We all believe this loan at Fulham will be an important part of his development and wish him a successful season.”
Chambers is the seventh new arrival at Craven Cottage this summer following the West London club’s return to the Premier League.
