Reds ready to move for Ousmane Dembele?

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly set his sights on trying to sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

Klopp is not short of options in the final third at Anfield, but Dembele’s ongoing troubles at Camp Nou could result in the German pushing hard to bring in the France international.

An exclusive report in The Sun has claimed that that the Merseyside giants are prepared to pay £85m for the 21-year-old during the January window.

Dembele is only in his second campaign at Barcelona but the attacker has found himself in and out of the starting lineup, while it was alleged that the club’s staff were left frustrated when the player failed to turn up to training earlier this month.

Barca are unlikely to be in any rush to sell Dembele – who still has just over three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract – but a substantial offer could be enough for the Catalan outfit to consider the wideman’s future.

Dembele has made just 19 starts in La Liga since his arrival in August 2017.
