Aaron Ramsey signs 4 year deal with Juventus
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has signed a pre-contract with Juventus, which will earn the Wales international over £400,000 a week.
Ramsey’s current Arsenal deal will expire at the end of the season and contract talks between the two parties broke down in the latter stages of 2018 as the Gunners were unprepared to meet the midfielder’s demands.
Juve have been seen as the favourites for some time, with Ramsey keen to sample football in a new league.
The midfielder has now agreed a contract in excess of £400,000 a week with the Italian champions, which will run until the summer of 2023.
The Welshman ‘passed a two-part medical in January’, having decided to join Juve despite interest from a number of European clubs, including Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
Ramsey has scored 62 times and registered 64 assists in 361 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.
This season, the 28-year-old has managed just two Premier League goals in 22 appearances.
