Man City on the verge of signing Felix Correia from Sporting Lisbon
Manchester City have reportedly moved to the brink of signing Sporting Lisbon youngster Felix Correia.
Pep Guardiola is known to be in the market for a new defender and midfielder this summer as he searches for replacements for Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho.
However, it appears that the Spaniard has one eye on the club’s attacking lineup in the future, with Sky Sports News claiming that Correia is on the verge of moving to the Etihad Stadium.
The report claims that the Premier League champions are ready to hand a five-year contract to the 18-year-old, who may be sent out on loan next season.
The Premier League champions are said to be looking to spend £3.14m on the prospect, although some of that fee is dependent on add-ons.
Correia has already earned five caps for Portugal Under-19s.
