Manchester United want £148m for 26-year-old Frenchman

Manchester United have reportedly put a huge £148m price-tag on Paul Pogba amid speculation over an exit from Old Trafford this summer.

The France international has made just eight appearances in all competitions this term and has been touted with a summer move to Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old midfielder was also linked with his former club Juventus last year, but United’s £169m valuation at the time put off both clubs from making a formal approach for the World Cup winner.

According to Spanish outlet AS claims that the Premier League giants have accepted Pogba is desperate to move on, however, and have therefore decreased their asking price.

Should Los Blancos fail to offer the amount, it is suggested that the Red Devils will stand firm and make the Frenchman remain at Old Trafford for another season.

Pogba will have only a year left on his United contract and there is no indication he would be willing to extend his contract.
