Report – Man United lining up bid for Adrien Rabiot
Manchester United have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot when the summer window eventually opens, according to Italian media outlet Tuttomercato.
The Red Devils are considering a potential bid to sign the 25-year-old playmaker following his impressive performances in the Italian top flight last summer.
Tuttomercato go on to add that United believe that the France international could be a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, whose future at Old Trafford remains in doubt, with the COVID-19 pandemic adding to the uncertainty.
The 20-time English champions have already strengthened their midfield with the addition of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon in January.
The Portugal international has made an immediate impact at the north-west giants following his move with three goals and four assists in eight matches.
United have been linked with a number of players ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, including Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Leicester City’s James Maddison.
