Chelsea eye Angel Gomes on free transfer?
Chelsea have reportedly joined the clutch of clubs interested in signing Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes on a free transfer.
Having failed to earn regular football, the 19-year-old midfielder intends to depart Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Despite appearing in just three occasions and seven substitute outings for the Red Devils, the academy graduate will not be short of offers in the coming weeks.
According to The Independent, Chelsea have identified Gomes as a potential summer signing and are considering to negotiate a deal with the youngster’s representative Pini Zahavi.
Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner are both already agreed to move to London stadium, Gomes would be unlikely to gain an immediate chance in the first team.
Clubs from Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A are all said to be monitoring the teenager’s situation.
