West Ham join Arsenal in race to sign Sardar Azmoun
West Ham United are reportedly ready to lock horns with Arsenal over the signature of Zenit St Petersburg striker Sardar Azmoun this summer, according to Area Napoli.
It’s claimed that West Ham would be happy to pay €25million to sign the Zenit star. The East London outfit have no problem meeting €25m asking price for Azmoun this summer.
The Hammers allegedly want Azmoun to pair up with Sebastien Haller at the London Stadium, and the Iranian would certainly be a very useful addition for David Moyes’ attack.
Azmoun, 25, has chalked up 14 goals and seven assists this term.
