Chelsea retain interested in Declan Rice
West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice is still a target for the European champions Chelsea, The Express claims.
The Blues were linked with the 22-year-old last summer but were unable to get a deal over the line as they had already spent £225m on new signings.
The England international has continued to remain on Chelsea’s radar, and it is reported that the West Londoners are firm admirers of the highly-rated midfielder.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of the Hammers’ ace, but a potential swoop could be delayed by another 12 months.
The East London outfit want around £80m for the Englishman.
Rice is contracted to West Ham United until 2024.
