Burnley lining up January move for Fleetwood Town’s James Hill?

Burnley have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Fleetwood Town defender James Hill in the upcoming transfer window.

While the Clarets are well stocked for options in the defence, but with James Tarkowski’s contract set to expire at the end of the campaign, adding another has become a priority for the club.

According to The Sun, the Premier League outfit are closely monitoring the rise of Fleetwood Town’s James Hill and could make move in the January transfer window as the club looks to add more quality.

Hill’s current contract with Fleetwood does finish in the summer, meaning he could be available for free.

It has been also reported that the club could send Bobby Thomas to Fleetwood on loan as part of a potential transfer deal.

Burnley are finding themselves in the relegation zone at the moment.
