Manchester City interested in Real Madrid’s Luka Modric?
Manchester City are interested in signing Real Madrid veteran Luka Modric, according to a report.
The 36-year-old midfielder is yet to extend his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond 2022.
However, with Modric now in the final six months of his deal with the La Liga leaders, the Croatia international is free to enter talks with foreign clubs.
According to El Nacional, the Premier League champions are keeping a close eye on the Croatian’s situation, with the former Tottenham Hotspur man now ‘running out of patience’ over contract discussions.
Modric has registered five assists from 20 appearances in all competitions this season.
