Manchester United join race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach’s Kouadio Kone
Manchester United have reportedly joined the clutch of clubs hoping to sign Borussia Monchengladbach’s defensive midfielder Kouadio Kone in the upcoming transfer window.
The 21-year-old joined the Bundesliga club from Toulouse in January 2021, before returning to the Ligue 1 outfit on loan for the remainder of the season.
The youngster has become a first-team regular for Monchengladbach, contributing three goals and one assist from 29 appearances in all competitions.
According to L’Equipe, via GFFN, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Leicester City are all keeping close tabs on the midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman still has three years left to run on his contract at Monchengladbach.
