Cristian Romero joins Tottenham Hotspur on permanent deal
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Cristian Romero on a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old joined Spurs on a one-year loan deal last summer and has established himself as a key figure in the Tottenham backline.
The Argentina international racked up 30 appearances for the Premier League giants in all competitions last term.
With the purchase clause in his contract set to expire at the end of August, the North Londoners have confirmed they have signed the centre-back on a permanent transfer.
The Lilywhites will pay a reported £41m fee for Romero, who is now contracted with Spurs until 2027.
