Chelsea announce Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signing on two-year deal
Chelsea have announced the signing of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona.
The Blues had been linked with the Gabon international for a couple of weeks as Thomas Tuchel looked to strengthen his attacking ranks following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner last month.
The 33-year-old joins Chelsea on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee, putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The striker scored 13 goals in 23 outings for Barcelona but was deemed surplus to requirements at the Catalan giants following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski at Camp Nou earlier this summer.
Aubameyang has vast years of experience in the Premier League with Arsenal, contributing 92 goals in 163 appearances including 68 in 128 top flight matches.
