Tottenham Hotspur’s Lucas Moura on Sevilla radar?
Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Sevilla.
The Brazilian has confirmed that he will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Due to a troublesome tendon injury, Lucas has only been able to make 18 senior appearances in all competitions this season. Unfortunately, he has not scored any goals or provided any assists during this time.
Lucas faces competition for playing time on the wings from Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison, Arnaut Danjuma, and Son Heung-min. As a result, he has not started a single top flight match this season, instead making 14 substitute appearances.
Despite at the age of 31, it is anticipated that Lucas will receive several offers from clubs.
According to reports from Estadio Deportivo and Fichajes, Sevilla are now in the race to sign Lucas Moura on a free transfer once he departs from Tottenham.
Spurs acquired Lucas from Paris Saint-Germain for £24.7 million in January 2018. He has contributed 38 goals and 27 assists in 220 appearances across all competitions.
