Konstantinos Mavropanos joins West Ham United until June 2028
West Ham United have secured the signature of Stuttgart defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The 25-year-old has put pen to a paper on a five-year contract target will keep him at London Stadium until June 2028.
The transfer fee is estimated at around £17m initially plus £2m in potential add-ons.
The centre-back becomes the third summer signing under David Moyes, following the arrivals of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse.
Mavropanos had spent three years with Stuttgart, with the first two years on loan from Arsenal. He had limited senior appearances during his time at the Emirates from 2018 to 2020.
After a recently failed attempt to acquire Harry Maguire from Manchester United, West Ham United intensified their pursuit of Mavropanos.
The Greece international could make make his debut for West Ham against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League action on Saturday.
