Manchester United eyeing move for Fikayo Tomori
Manchester United are considering 25-year-old English defender Fikayo Tomori as a potential replacement for Harry Maguire, according to Rudy Galetti.
The AC Milan centre-back has garnered interest from the Red Devils as they search for a successor to Maguire. Tomori, who joined Milan from Chelsea, has excelled in Serie A, becoming a crucial part of their defence.
Tomori’s career took a turn when he moved from Chelsea to AC Milan on loan in January 2021. He was subsequently signed on a permanent deal, contributing significantly to Milan’s success, including their 2021/22 title win.
Manchester United are exploring options to fill the void left by Maguire, who is set to join West Ham United after agreeing to terms.
While the Red Devils have engaged with other potential centre-backs like Pavard, Guehi, and Todibo, they’ve already reached personal terms with Pavard. Tomori could be considered as a backup choice for the 20-time English champions.
