The England international, who made the controversial switch from Chelsea last summer, may already be eyeing a Premier League return.

Why United Need Midfield Reinforcement

The writing appears on the wall for veteran Casemiro, whose contract expires in June. At 34, the Brazilian’s time at Old Trafford seems destined to end despite recent goalscoring form. Meanwhile, Manuel Ugarte hasn’t quite justified his hefty price tag, Mason Mount remains plagued by fitness woes, and even academy gem Kobbie Mainoo has been frozen out—managing just 138 Premier League minutes under Amorim.
