Tottenham Hotspur interested in Mike Maignan
Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
While Hugo Lloris is the established number one at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but his long-term future at north London continues to be called into question.
According to Le 10 Sport via The Sun, Lille’s Mike Maignan has emerged as a potential replacement for Lloris, with the Lilywhites ‘monitoring’ the 24-year-old stopper ahead of a potential summer move.
The report adds that Chelsea are also interested, while the French outfit are allegedly prepared to ‘listen to offers’ for the Frenchman ahead of the next season.
The stopper joined Les Dogues from PSG in August 2015, and has kept 13 clean sheets in 37 matches during the 2019-20 season.
Maignan will see his contract at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy expire until June 2022.
