Manchester City still keeping tabs on Antoine Griezmann
Manchester City remain interested in signing Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann as a back-up option should they fail to sign Harry Kane, who is valued at over £100m.
City have other options in mind to fill the void left by Sergio Aguero, with Griezmann apparently among those being lined up.
Mundo Deportivo suggests that the Premier League champions realise bringing in the Frenchman from Camp Nou is a lot more feasible than wasting time trying to lure Kane to Etihad.
It is claimed that Manchester City can afford to purchase Griezmann outright, though a swap deal may also be on the cards.
Barcelona are said to be interested in Aymeric Laporte, Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo.
Griezmann has scored 20 goals and registered 12 assists in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign.
