Arsenal eyeing up transfer for Gianluca Scamacca
Arsenal are closely monitoring developments surrounding Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca, according to FC Inter News.
The Gunners will be in the market for a new centre-forward ahead of the new season, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to leave the Emirates upon the expiration of their contracts.
The North Londoners have already touched base with Sassuolo to express their interest in Scamacca, who has a contract at Mapei Stadium until 2025.
The report goes on to claim that Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old as well, but Inter Milan are at the head of the queue to sign the £33m-rated centre-forward.
Scamacca has scored 13 goals in 28 top flight appearances this term.
