Arsenal lining up move for Marcel Sabitzer
Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal.
The 28-year-old has made 29 appearances for the Bavarians during the 2021-22 campaign but has only scored one goal.
The Austrian still has more than three years remaining on his contract, but according to Bild via SportWitness, he will be allowed to leave Allianz Arena during this summer’s transfer window.
The report adds that the Gunners are showing an interest in the attacker, but Mikel Arteta’s side could face fierce competition from Atletico Madrid.
Sabitzer has only started seven German top flight appearances during the 2021-22 campaign.
