Liverpool retain interest in signing Torino defender Bremer
Liverpool reportedly still hold an interest in signing Torino centre-back Bremer during this summer’s transfer window.
The 25-year-old defender only signed a new deal with the Serie A outfit in February but consistently linked with a move away from the Bull in the summer market.
Juventus, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Arsenal are all believed to be keen on the centre-back, who has contributed three goals and one assist in 28 top flight appearances this term.
According to Goal, the Merseyside outfit also continue to track the progress of the Brazilian, as Jurgen Klopp’s side weigh up making an offer ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The report goes on to claim that Nerazzurri are ‘in pole position’ at this stage, but Liverpool have made ‘informal enquiries’ about the South American in recent weeks.
Bremer has a contract at the Italian outfit until June 2024.
