Manchester United keen on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?
Manchester United have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to Talksport.
The 28-year-old has largely struggled to make his mark in Merseyside and started only nine league games last season due to injuries.
A previous report suggested that the Reds are prepared to offload the England international this summer.
Manchester United could make a surprise bid for the midfielder as they look to strengthen their options in the middle of the pitch following the departures of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic.
If Liverpool are prepared to accept a fee of £10m then the Red Devils would certainly weigh up the prospect of making an offer.
Southampton are also been linked with a move, but they could be deterred by the Englishman’s wage demands and injury issues.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored 17 goals in 133 games for Liverpool since joining the club in 2017.
