Robert Lewandowski on Barcelona radar?
Barcelona have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
The 33-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Bavarians after previously stating that his “era at Bayern is over” in a press conference.
Despite Lewandowski expressing a desire to leave the German champions, the club hierarchy are determined to keep hold of the Poland international amid interest from the Catalan giants Barcelona.
However, according to ESPN, Barca have resurrected their interest in the Pole, whose contract is set to expire in 2023.
The Bavarians would be looking to secure over €40m for the sale of Lewandowski.
The veteran striker helped Bayern Munich claim their tenth consecutive Bundesliga title last season, contributing 35 goals in 34 league appearances.
