Liverpool lining up move for Jude Bellingham next summer
Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The 19-year-old has been in scintillating form for Dortmund since arriving from Birmingham City in 2020, scoring 12 goals and setting up 19 assists in 97 appearances in all competitions.
The England international was on the scoresheet in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, as BVB started their European campaign with a 3-0 win over Copenhagen.
He still has another three years left on his contract, and Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl recently said that the club were hopeful of keeping him beyond next summer.
However, the teenager is widely expected to leave Westfalenstadion next summer, with Manchester United and Real Madrid also believed to be keen to sign him.
According to journalists Christian Falk and Fabrizio Romano, the Reds will attempt to sign the youngster during next summer’s transfer window.
The Merseyside giants decided against moving for a new attacker in the recent transfer window despite their injury troubles in the middle of the park.
The Bundesliga giants value Bellingham in the region of £60m.
