Manchester City join Chelsea in race to sign Josko Gvardiol next summer?
Chelsea reportedly face fresh competition from Manchester City for the signing o Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.
Although the Croatia international has recently signed a new five-year deal with Die Roten Bullen, the Blues could make a move to bring him to Stamford Bridge as early as the transfer window re-opens in January.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the-20-year-old defender is set to remain with the German outfit until next summer, when the Premier League champions Man City are set to rival Chelsea for the youngster.
There is a belief that the Bundesliga outfit rejected Chelsea’s offer as they expect a bunch of clubs to show an interest next year, which could result in a huge bidding war.
Gvardiol has only started on two occasions so far this season.
