Arsenal want Brighton & Hove Albion’s Leandro Trossard?

Arsenal have reportedly made an approach to sign Brighton & Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard.

Although the Gunners are not short of options in the middle of the pitch, Mikel Arteta’s side are still interested in strengthening in the wide positions.

The North Londoners have been linked with a move for a wideman in recent times, with the likes of Mykhaylo Mudryk, Danilo and Facundo Torres.

However, Trossard’s contract is set to expire in the summer, football.london reports that the Belgian could be a target for Arsenal in the mid-season transfer window as the Seagulls may look to cash in then rather than allow him to leave for free.

The 27-year-old has been in excellent form this season, contributing seven goals and three assists in just 13 appearances for the Premier League club.
