Real Madrid keen on signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

Real Madrid have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the January transfer window.

Los Blancos could lose Toni Kroos and Luka Modric next June, while Dani Ceballos also has a new deal until the summer of 2023.

According to Calciomercatoweb, the European champions view Milinkovic-Savic as a possible target, with the 27-year-old potentially leaving the Italian outfit during next summer’s transfer window.

The report claims that the 27-year-old midfielder will cost somewhere in the region of €80m, with his contract at Stadio Olimpico due to expire in the summer of 2024.

There was speculation surrounding the midfielder’s future during the summer transfer window, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain among the clubs to be linked with his services.

The Serbia international has again been in impressive form for Biancocelesti during the 2022-23 campaign, contributing five goals and seven assists in 20 appearances in all competitions.

Milinkovic-Savic joined the Eagles from Genk in August 2015, and has since gone on to make 314 occasions in all competitions, banking 63 goals and 58 assists in the process.
