Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun on AC Milan radar?
Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is reportedly a target for the Italian giants AC Milan.
The 21-year-old has played a limited role for the Gunners, making just two starts and eight substitute appearances for the North Londoners.
It’s been suggested that the England Under-21 international has made a strong start to his career while on loan with Reims in France, and has become one of the top-performing young forwards in Europe.
Balogun has been in fine form for Reims in Ligue 1, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances, including a recent double in a 3-1 win over Rennes.
Calciomercato reports that AC Milan are considering making an approach for Balogun due to his strong performances for Reims in the French top flight.
The report adds that the Italian club may consider making a move for Balogun due to Divock Origi’s lack of impact at the club.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his first-team prospects, Balogun still has two and a half years left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
