Evan Ndicka on Chelsea radar?

Chelsea are one of the clubs reportedly interested in acquiring the signature of Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Evan Ndicka, according to Calciomercatoweb.

The 23-year-old, whose contract is set to expire in the summer and will become a free agent, may be the subject of a tug-of-war between Chelsea and Arsenal.

The report adds that Chelsea have entered the race to sign the Frenchman, whose contract with the Bundesliga outfit is expiring in 6 months.

The centre-back played a key role in Frankfurt’s success in the Europa League last season, but due to interest from Premier League clubs, he may be inclined to explore other options.

Earlier reports indicate that Arsenal have already reached an agreement with the centre-back, who will be available on a free transfer in the summer, and could be a strong addition to the team.

Chelsea, however, are looking to up their efforts to acquire Ndicka, despite stiff competition from rival club Arsenal for his signature.
