Matheus Nunes on Chelsea radar?

Chelsea are preparing to face off against Liverpool in the pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matheus Nunes during the summer transfer window.
Liverpool reportedly came close to signing the 24-year-old midfielder last summer but ultimately, he joined Wolves for a transfer fee of around £44m.
The Telegraph reports that Chelsea are also in the running for the Portugal international, with a transfer fee of up to £55m being mentioned.
Chelsea have Nunes on its radar, along with other potential targets such as Declan Rice from West Ham United, Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion, Amadou Onana from Everton, and Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.
Meanwhile, the Reds are also in need of multiple midfield signing, with James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s contracts set to expire at the end of the season.
Nunes has played in 17 Premier League matches this season.
