West Ham United to sign Terem Moffi

West Ham United are in the midst of negotiations with FC Lorient to bring in Terem Moffi during the January transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, the Hammers are in the final stages of talks with Ligue 1 outfit to secure the signature of the Nigeria international.

West Ham have had a difficult time in the 2022/23 season and currently sit in 18th place in the Premier League table.

The Hammers’ loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers was a critical setback, pushing them into the bottom three of the league.

Moffi’s contribution was significant in helping Lorient avoid relegation from the Ligue 1 last term, and that experience could be valuable for the Hammers.

The 23-year-old has been in excellent form this season, netting 12 goals in 18 appearances, and he is exactly the type of player West Ham needs at this time.

As negotiations are progressing positively, it could be a short period of time before David Moyes gets the player he wants.
