Man United, Barcelona keen on signing Nicolo Barella
Barcelona and Manchester United have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign prolific Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.
The 23-year-old spent the last season on loan with Nerazzurri before completing a permanent move to San Siro from Cagliari during the summer transfer window.
The Italy international has been in sensational form for Inter this season, registering four assists in nine appearances in all competitions.
He has a contract with the Serie A outfit until June 2024, but according to FCInterNews, Barca and Man Utd are both weighing up offers for the playmaker.
The report adds that Antonio Conte’s side are considering to extend Barella’s contract for another year, but a number of European elite clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, are closely monitoring developments.
Barella has scored four goals and created 12 assists in 50 outings for Inter Milan.
