Man United interested in Real Madrid teenager Marvel
Manchester United have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Real Madrid teenager Marvel in the January transfer window.
The 18-year-old defender, who is under contract with Los Blancos until June 2025, has made three appearances in the UEFA Youth League this term.
According to Bernabeu Digital, the Red Devils are ready to explore the possibility of signing the centre-back to Old Trafford.
The report adds that the teenager is seen as one of the ‘great promises’ of La Liga football, and his progress at the youth level has led to the Mancunian giants showing an interest.
United could face fierce competition for the youngster, though, with a number of European clubs also said to be keeping an eye on his development.
Marvel previously spent time with Rayo Vallecano before moving to Real Madrid in 2016.
