Nathan Collins on Tottenham radar?

Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Brentford centre-back Nathan Collins, with Arsenal and Liverpool also vying for the Irishman’s signature this summer.
According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Spurs are eyeing Collins as they look to bolster their defensive ranks ahead of the 2025/26 season. The 23-year-old joined Brentford in a £23 million deal and has impressed under Thomas Frank — a connection that could work in Tottenham’s favour, with Frank now at the helm in North London.
Spurs are in urgent need of defensive reinforcements, especially with speculation surrounding Cristian Romero’s future. Collins, with his Premier League experience and composure at the back, represents a reliable option.
Arsenal and Liverpool Also in the Mix
Arsenal are also reportedly monitoring Collins as they look to add depth to their backline. With a packed fixture list and ambitions of challenging for silverware, Mikel Arteta sees the Irish international as a strong squad addition capable of stepping up when needed.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are assessing Collins as a solution to their own defensive concerns. Injuries to Joe Gomez and uncertainty around young Jarell Quansah’s long-term readiness have prompted the Reds to explore experienced options. Collins fits the bill and could be a valuable asset at Anfield.
Brentford, however, are unlikely to let their defensive linchpin go cheaply. With multiple top clubs circling, they are expected to demand a premium fee for one of their most prized assets.
