Man United eye Brentford star Yehor Yarmolyuk
Manchester United are reportedly lining up a move for Brentford’s rising star Yehor Yarmolyuk, with the 21-year-old Ukrainian international firmly on their radar for next year.
According to Ukrainian outlet dynamo.kiev.ua, United are serious about strengthening their midfield options and see Yarmolyuk as a potential long-term solution in the holding role. However, Brentford are determined to hold on to their prized asset and will only consider offers in the region of £30 million.

Yarmolyuk’s Rise at Brentford
Since joining the Bees from SC Dnipro-1 in 2022, Yarmolyuk has quietly developed into one of the Premier League’s most promising young midfielders. After biding his time early on, he has now racked up over 50 appearances and close to 3,000 minutes for the West London club.
The Verkhnyodniprovsk-born midfielder’s technical ability, composure on the ball, and work rate have made him a standout figure in Thomas Frank’s setup. His performances have not only cemented his place in Brentford’s squad but also caught the attention of several top-flight clubs — with United leading the chase.
The Midfield Puzzle at Old Trafford
Erik ten Hag has been actively searching for midfield reinforcements, with United previously chasing Lille’s Carlos Baleba before talks collapsed in the summer. Newcastle’s Elliot Anderson is also on the club’s radar, but Yarmolyuk’s profile makes him an intriguing option.
Brentford, having already lost key players in the last window, will be reluctant to sanction another major departure. Yet, with a valuation starting at £30m, United could test their resolve in the coming months.
For now, Yarmolyuk remains a key piece of Brentford’s future, but a move to Old Trafford could be looming if United decide to press ahead with their pursuit.
