Mexican youngster on Manchester United radar?
Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the development of Cruz Azul midfielder Roberto Alvarado.
Alvarado, 20, made his senior debut for the Mexican national team in their 4-1 defeat to Uruguay on Friday.
According to Esto, United had a scout in Houston watching Alvarado, with the Red Devils keeping close tabs on the midfielder as they consider a move.
Alvarado only joined Cruz Azul from Necaxa earlier this year, but has already scored three times and registered five assists in 12 appearances for the Mexican outfit.
The midfielder also netted three times in five matches for Mexico’s Under-21 outfit before receiving a call-up to the senior side.
Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant were United’s three signings during the summer transfer window.
