Arsenal plan move to sign Newcastle United keeper Freddie Woodman?
Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman is reportedly being eyed up by Arsenal as a possible replacement for Petr Cech.
The Gunners will wave goodbye to Cech at the end of the season following four years’ service as he brings an end to his career.
Arsenal are on the lookout for a new back-up to Bernd Leno and, according to Chronicle Live, they may make a move for Woodman.
A number of clubs are believed to be looking at the 22-year-old, who has been restricted to three appearances for Newcastle all season, each coming in the FA Cup.
Woodman, part of England’s successful World Cup Under-20s side in 2017, is rumoured to be seeking a move away from St James’ Park ahead of his contract expiring next year.
Everton, Fulham and Celtic have also been credited with an interest in the English keeper.
