Man United to sign Nabil Fekir ahead of LFC

Manchester United have moved to snap up Lyon forward Nabil Fekir from under the noses of Liverpool, according to a report.

The 24-year-old was due to join the Reds in a big-money move earlier in June, only for the French club to publicly pull the plug.

Liverpool had reportedly attempted to renegotiate the fee, claiming that £55m would be their final offer due to concerns over a knee injury flagged during the player’s medical.

According to Le Progres, Lyon refused to budge from their valuation, and Fekir has since received offers from other clubs, one of which is Man United.

Fekir, who is also believed to be on the radar of Real Madrid, made 40 appearances for Lyon last season, scoring 23 goals and registering eight assists.
