Man United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur in Steven Bergwijn race

A trio of Premier League clubs are reportedly about to enter a bidding war for PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn.

The 21-year-old has scored 11 goals and set up another 12 in 24 Eredivisie appearances this season to help his side open up a five-point lead at the summit.

Bergwijn broke into PSV’s first team in 2015 and was rewarded for his impressive displays last year when called up to the Netherlands senior squad, earning full caps against Germany and France in the UEFA Nations League.

Eindhoven are now bracing themselves for some big offers for the talented and versatile attacker, with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf linking him to six sides.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be battling it out for Bergwijn’s signature, while Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan have also been watching the player closely this season.

PSV currently value Bergwijn in excess of £30m, though that figure is expected to rise as the interest in him grows.
