Arsenal in talks over potential signing of Lorenzo Pellegrini?

Unai Emery is said to hold an interest in Sampdoria pair Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet, but it appears that the Spaniard is looking to do business with another Serie A club.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport as quoted by The Sun, Arsenal have made contact with Pellegrini’s agent in order to determine whether the Italy international would entertain a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
The report says that the player has a £27m release clause in his contract, although it is suggested that Arsenal would look to pay the fee in two installments.
However, Roma may try to tempt the 22-year-old into remaining at Stadio Olimpico by offering him the vice-captaincy.
