Newcastle United interested in Monaco wonderkid Benoit Badiashile?
Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile is reportedly the subject of interest from Newcastle United.
Despite being just 18 years of age, the France Under-19 international has already racked up 32 starts in Ligue 1.
The emergence of the Frenchman has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, according to The Chronicle, The Magpies scouts were in attendance to watch the teenager in action at Monaco’s fixture with Bordeaux on Sunday.
Badiashile has just over 18 months left on his existing contract, putting the Ligue 1 outfit in a position where they may have to consider any bids for his signature.
