Chelsea keen on signing Man United starlet Angel Gomes
Chelsea have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes, according to Metro.
The Blues are interested in a potential swoop to sign the 19-year-old midfielder on a free transfer when his current deal expires at the end of the campaign.
The report states that the Red Devils have made a contract offer to Gomes but the teenager hasn’t put pen to paper on a new deal with the north-west giants.
Gomes’ representatives weren’t impressed by United’s offer of £25,000-a-week so the midfielder appears unlikely to commit his future to Old Trafford.
Chelsea are currently sit fourth in the Premier League table and a point ahead of Manchester United.
