Arsenal consider summer move for Real Madrid youngster Cesar Gelabert
Arsenal have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Real Madrid prospect Cesar Gelabert in the summer transfer window, according to Spanish media outlet AS.
The report adds that the Gunners have joined the list of clubs wanting to sign the 19-year-old midfielder, with the Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Ligue 1 outfit Lyon are also said to be keen on the player.
Lyon have already made an offer for the teenager but Los Blancos rejected the proposal.
The north Londoners are thought to be in the market to find a replacement for Dani Ceballos ahead of the playmaker’s return to the Bernabeu at the end of his loan spell.
Arsenal signed Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares in January but manager Mikel Arteta was unable to strengthen his options in attacking positions at the Emirates.
