Man United interested in Milan Skriniar as Victor Lindelof replacement?

Manchester United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to strengthen his defensive options ahead of next season.

The Red Devils have had Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof as the regular pair at the heart of the defence this campaign.

Skriniar has made nearly 100 appearances for Nerazzurri since his move from Sampdoria in 2017 and he has previously been linked with a move to Barcelona.

However, it appears that the Inter are willing to sanction his departure when the summer window eventually opens, provided any club is prepared to meet their £52million valuation for the centre-back’s services.

The Slovakia international could be an ideal option for the Premier League giants as the centre-half has a vast of top level experience, as well as potential to establish himself as one of the best defenders in the world.

Skriniar’s arrival could see Lindelof drop to the substitutes’ bench at Old Trafford.
