Man United to rival Chelsea for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice?
West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.
The 21-year-old midfielder is regarded as the biggest asset at the East London outfit. However, according to Football Insider, the Red Devils are prepared to pay big money for the England international.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for the youngster, who has previously spent time at the Blues in their youth ranks.
Although Man United are well stocked for options in the middle of the pitch, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may look to deploy Rice in the middle of his defence.
Rice has a contract at West Ham until the summer of 2024.
